April 2012, Sue and Helen from Bucks

“We have been here for two weeks, but it seems like only two minutes! As usual, everything is just perfect: comfortable and very clean. We could stay here forever by this beautiful coast in this wonderful seaside cottage. The best of the sand between here and Compton Bay has been right opposite us so we haven’t needed to venture far. Thank you Ginny for being such a welcoming and generous hostess, we really appreciate the kindness you show us everytime we come.”

February 2012, the Belton family from Lincolnshire

“Thank you so much for another lovely stay in your cottage, this has been our fourth stay and we fall in love with the place and the Island a little bit more each time we come. As always the cottage has been warm, cosy and spotlessly clean. Thanks again for making our holiday so memorable.”

Christmas 2011, the Lewis family from Surrey

"What a wonderful Christmas and New Year. Plenty still to see and do with small children. Thank you for decorating the cottage for us, it looked lovely when we arrived and we appreciated the Christmas DVDs, mulled wine and Christmas cake.”

October 2011, Malcolm and Carol from Shropshire

“We have had a FANTASTIC holiday. The cottage has to be the best and most complete accommodation that we have ever stayed in. A real home from home experience.”

September 2011, the Dean family from Essex

“A big thank you for the lovely welcome and basket of treats on arrival. The dinosaur biscuits and apple juice livened up travel-weary children nicely. We have had a very special week, the weather was excellent and allowed us to explore this wonderful island – we did so much that we can’t cover it all, but the more you explore, the more the Island keeps giving. The cottage has been an excellent base, it is well appointed, immaculately clean and we felt very comfortable. This was our first visit to the Island but I very much doubt it will be our last.”

August 2011, the Mercer family from Shropshire

“Thank you for the many small touches that made us feel so welcome. It is a lovely cottage in a lovely location. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony most days and made good use of the body board and other beach toys. Thanks for everything.”

August 2011, the Syddalls family from Hampshire

“Tom’s favourite thing has been going body-boarding for the first time ever at the beach opposite. We have had lots of lovely beach sessions all at Grange so we didn’t need to travel, and also walked across the fields to the village playground and tea rooms. This has been our third visit to the cottage but it won’t be our last!”

August 2011, the Nathan family from Essex

“Our second summer visit to the cottage has been every bit as good as the first. Blackgang Chine has been a favourite again and we enjoyed their Wednesday night firework party. Robin Hill is great for walks and picnicking. Lovely to come back to such a comfortable house each night.”

August 2011, the Bobe family from Warwick

“We are all sad to be leaving after another fantastic holiday. The weather has been great except for one morning wind-swept walk in the rain, when we were glad to be returning to such a cosy cottage. Thanks again for everything in the cottage – the children settled in as if they had never been away.”

July 2011, the Gale family from Buckinghamshire

“Another lovely stay in your wonderful cottage – thank you for all the welcome goodies and toys. We had brilliant weather. We took the Island Breezer to the Needles – a great bus ride with stunning views and made a return visit to Carisbrooke Castle to see the donkeys. We really have had a fantastic holiday and are sad to leave the cottage and the Island.”

July 2011, the Jeffries family from Staffordshire

“Had a lovely week again, the cottage is always wonderful.”

July 2011, Linda, Pete and Nick from West Yorkshire

"A pleasure to be enjoying your lovely cottage once again. Thank you."

July 2011, Don and Hazel from Northants

"Our first visit to the Isle of Wight. The weather has been good. We love the downs, and the walk to Brighstone across the fields is lovely. The house is excellent with everything you need for a comfortable stay and of course the sea views."

June 2011, the Marlow family from Warwickshire

"Our second visit. Once again a home from home which is so important with little ones. Thank you Ginny for everything. You think of things other people wouldn’t bother about, making it all so much easier. We have had a superb holiday."

May 2011, the Tharpa family from Hampshire

"Our first visit and we had a lovely time. The cottage is great, the best we have ever stayed in. Brighstone and the surrounding area are really beautiful. We hope to come back soon and thank you for making our stay so wonderful."

May 2011, the Cambridge family from Shropshire and Liverpool

"Our second visit and just as last time everything within the cottage has been perfect. Glorious weather. We have had a super time and hope to return soon."

May 2011, Malcolm & Barbara from Worcestershire

"Another lovely visit. See you in October!"

March 2011, Jane & Phil from Oldham

"Our third time here! Just as good as ever! Weather ab fab!"

February 2011, the Eustance-Cole family from London

"Another lovely week in this lovely cottage! Now the children are bigger we are more adventurous and went looking for the dinosaur footprints at Compton. Our favourites are the model railway and the Steam Railway. We saw our first red squirrels. Many thanks for the welcome goodies, toys and Island maps."

January 2011, Malcolm & Barbara from Bridgnorth

"Once again we had a lovely time. Many thanks for providing the little bed and cot – our son and his family had a lovely short stay with us. See you soon."

New Year 2011, the Morris family from London

"We’ve had such a lovely stay here! It feels like the place was designed for us. We know the Island well and booked as an “overflow” from my parents’ house in Brighstone. We now really hope we can make it an annual thing. Even the lovely comfy cot you provided gave our son his first full night’s sleep in ages. We don’t want to leave! Thanks again for the warm welcome."
